Kansas City Natural Light Engagement Photography // Shelby + Zach

You can just see it. Shelby, sitting in her physics class in college, pencil in hand, taking notes, focused on school. When in walked Zach, dressed super nice with a perfect smile. Shelby looked up, and in her words, the first thing that ran through her mind was "Oh helllloooooo".....that mental hello soon turned into a verbal one, and from there, well....a relationship began.

A few days after Thanksgiving in 2016...unsuspecting yet oh so hopeful Shelby had that all important question asked to her by Zach, with her dream ring in his hands, and the elated feelings of excitement and happiness between them!

Shelby and Zach are beyond perfect for one another, and as their (lucky) photographer, who gets to dig into their love story, witness them holding hands and holding on to one another, and seeing every stealing glance, every grin, every giggle...I can wholeheartedly attest to that perfection. What I can't do, is accurately describe how unbelievably wonderful it is to be in the presence of their love!!! To say I'm excited to know these two and document their love story is a crazy ridiculous understatement!

And we have to talk about the degree to which they completely ROCKED their engagement session - they are amazing! I mean, what kind of couple says "Hey can we try to do the signature Dirty Dancing LIFT for a photo!??"....and then actually pulls it off, flawlessly..!? These two. That's who. And oh my goshhhhhhh!! Just wait until you see that image below! As amazing it is, it isn't even my favorite, because in reality, I can't choose a favorite!
