The Approach
My overall philosophy when it comes to wedding photography is that first, I strive to make this one aspect of planning a wedding as easy and as simple as possible. Photography is so much more than just images, it is a real part of your day. And not only do you deserve beautiful images, you deserve an amazing photography experience.
From getting to know you via an in-person consult or a video-call, to sealing the deal and moving forward. From your engagement session to your wedding day prep, all the way up to - and through - your big day!
All of these moments and the spaces in between are so much more than a business transaction to me!
The Experience
No stiff poses, no saying ‘cheese’...I’m just a fly on a wall (or a tree branch), prepared (when it’s needed!) to give solid guidance, encouragement, and movement-based prompts, and ready to photograph you guys as you bear-hug in the woods, frolick in a field, and giggle like the lovebirds that you are on your big day. I don’t need you to worry about where your hand goes — I just want you guys to touch each other as much as possible!
Aside from just a few traditional smile-at-the-camera shots (for Grandma, of course!) my focus is you guys, your love and the real moments you share together!

ENGAGEMENT + ANNIVERSARY SESSIONS
You just got engaged, your anniversary is coming up, or you just want a good excuse to snuggle your sweetheart in a field of tall grass surrounded by warm gorgeous sunlight. You want to wander around hand in hand while laughing and remembering your journey together this far in life, and all the days to come. Carefree, laid-back, some fun movement and a whole lot of laughing. A couples session is about a milestone, or for no reason at all!
Couples sessions begin at $600

MATERNITY + FAMILY
You and your person are expecting baby #1 (or baby #4, who knows!) and you want this sweet chapter documented. Maybe you already have a little or a few littles, and you want some family memories documented. Regardless of the situation — maternity + family sessions are approached with one word in mind — carefree. Let the kids be kids! Tickle their bellies in a field of wildflowers, let them play in the creek, everyone involved just having fun with it!
