In a huge sea of rice excitedly being tossed their way, Amanda + Ryan came out of those church doors two people who had just become something so much more, something that binds them as one

What can you say when you're standing face to face on your wedding day - to the person you love more than anyone else? This person, this soul that you've hoped for, wished for, waited for, and prayed for.

the answer: you pour your heart out. 

And then....they saw each other, from across a church aisle, Lorraine on the arm of her sweet Dad, and Travis standing up front at that immaculate altar, beaming from ear to ear.

Nothing else mattered on this day....how could it? These two who have known each other since Kindergarten. Curtis, the boy her Mom didn't want her to date, and the boy who proved them all wrong. Makayla, the girl who stole his heart like no one else ever could... 

"You guys JUST got married!!!" I shouted, as we three stood in epic evening sunlight in a field of green, trimmed around its borders with the picturesque white picket fence. Julie laughed, beautifully as always, and Nate couldn't help but stare.

What Britta and Patrick share....You can't beat it. It's a matter of luck, of being blessed, and of being in love with your absolute best friend in this entire great big world.

He turned around. He saw her. It seemed as if the wind got completely knocked out of him, and a huge smile spread across his face. He took a few steps forward and reached out for Emily, and by the time he had her in his arms, tears were starting to come out.

Their big and supportive wedding party watched on as Jessica and Rachel stood about eight feet from one another in the front yard of the gorgeous house at Thompson Barn. Their eyes were closed. Neither could stop grinning. The wind blew through their hair, and they just waited. Standing there knowing in just a few seconds, they'd open their eyes and see each other for the first time on this day.

The second those sheer white curtains were pulled back....and Christa emerged on the arm of her sweet Dad...Jeff's entire head just dropped. A mixture of gigantic grins, giggles, the feeling of his breath being knocked right out of him, and maybe a few tears welling up in his eyes....it all happened so fast.

A wildly calm bride, and an equally calm groom - tie the knot!

Here she came, that girl he's known for so many years, the girl who made him wait 3 years before wedding bells could chime, the girl he couldn't wait to marry, and the girl who on this day in March - he would finally tie the biggest knot with.

January in the Midwest can be a little tough on ya when it comes to temperatures, and also the risk of snow...Both things came at Amanda and Ryan on their January wedding day this year, but neither affected them or their day in the least. I guess that old saying can be quite true, "Cold hands and a warm heart" - Amanda and Ryan had both.

Kelsey came down the aisle of that old stone chapel on the arm of her Dad, and her and Andrew's life together shifted into something so much more wonderful!

A cozy evening wedding that just made everyone feel right at home!

Her Dad spent the first few weeks of her life praying - for her health, for her future, and for the man she would one day marry.
