At the core of a self-owned business is the heartbeat of the person who created it.

Excited, pumped, thrilled - just a few words to describe how I feel over our Woodsy Boho Inspired Styled Shoot from September being featured in EA Bride Magazine!!!

What was 2016 like?  
Like the first time you ride your bicycle down a gigantic hill. You're anxious, nervous + excited as you start to go down, you gain momentum.....more than you anticipated, maybe more than you thought you were ready for...There's a slight panic, maybe you lose your footing for a second, but then suddenly...you just soak in the feeling of the wind in your hair and before you know it, you've reached the bottom, and you're coasting along just fine, unscathed. 

The one year anniversary of going full-time with this little business of mine, and a recap of such!

I love this kid SO much, even I know it's a little crazy. But I don't care one bit. He knows he's my baby, and sometimes, I think he forgets he's a cat. 

The first year of this business comes to a close and above all else, I am grateful. As 2014 comes to an end, it seems only fitting to share some personal thoughts about this year! 

We spend our evenings on my mama's front porch surrounded by lightning bugs, and the sound of wind chimes, - while we try to convince ourselves - it's not that dark out here.
