Kansas City Catholic Wedding + Heritage Hall Reception | Allie + Spencer
Her Mom pulled a cute decorative settee into the living room, right by the window. All the dresses hung nearby. The beautiful bouquets filled the room with their undeniable amazing smell. She got ready with her best girls, and her parents just a room away, even the family dog was there - little Paisley. Everything in her parents' house was calm, every person, every mood, and every moment. Allie was marrying Spencer today.
All of her details came together perfectly, all the planning came to fruition. Just a few minutes before her girls helped her into the most exquisite wedding gown, her Dad went to go hide. The dress was on. The girls helped, and Allie's Mom made little adjustments - just before she stood back to soak the moment in. Allie's Dad came upstairs to see his little girl - on her biggest day, and his face was full of admiration and love. His little girl was marrying Spencer today.
Little Paisley feeling left out needed her Allie to hold her, she even trampled all over Allie's long and gorgeous full cathedral veil - but Allie didn't bat an eye at all. Why? Because nothing else in the world mattered - except that she was marrying the love of her life today.
Everyone left for the church, Our Lady of Sorrows - easily one of the most breathtaking churches in this great city. Guests began arriving, a soft breeze was blowing outside, everyone was all smiles. And then suddenly, it was happening - parents were seated, bridesmaids + groomsmen beamed all the way down that grand aisle, a nervous ring-bearer blushed his way down, and three most perfect flower girls led the way as a final note before the biggest moment.
Then, here she came. On the arm of her precious Dad, with a sweet smile, a fast beating heart, and complete tunnel vision - all for Spencer. With an equally locked-on-stare, and a smile that never faded, Spencer watched his bride steal the show, and steal his heart for the umpteenth time. They were getting married today.
A portion of lace from her grandmother's wedding gown was sewn into the underside of Allie's wedding gown - ensuring it as an even more special dress for her!
A special thank you to the amazing team behind this perfect day!
