These two have such a bright future ahead of them, both individually and together. The type of personalities they both have is infectious - you can't help but smile around them, they radiate happiness and are always so positive!

The day Derek proposed began as a completely normal day - by watching Jurassic Park together. Or as Katie called it - "A day that no girl would think she's getting engaged".

Taylor took Cassandra on a helicopter tour of Kansas City. Cassandra says she was completely terrified of getting into that helicopter (can I get a amen) but she knew, deep down, Taylor was up to something...

These two have something special together, and it's so great to see. They are that type of couple that when they are together, it's just them, just the two of them, no matter how crowded the room may be.

Watching Codie & Brandon together and documenting their loving looks towards one another was such a treat. It makes my heart so happy to see two people so in love - especially when I know one of them personally! 

These two are so wrapped up together in love and light, capturing them on this sun-filled evening has become one of my favorite engagement sessions to date! 

L&R are both so crazy-happy to be together, and it shows in every look, every touch, and every smile. 

Engagement photos at the lovely Line Creek Trail - which gave us a half-frozen creek, beautiful trails, and amazing light! And to top it all off - Talina and Carlos were a pair of perfect lovebirds!

Looking back through each of the wonderful sessions and events I had the joy of capturing over this past year was F-U-N! Choosing a few favorites or so from each was a little bit of work! I have many favorites from all of my sessions and events in 2014, and it isn't because they are all an epic shot.....

I would always watch Emily as she talked about this husband of hers, and how she would blush, and grin, and just light up. Once I met Logan, and saw how they are together, there was no doubt - these two have that type of love that sappy romantic movies are made about. 

Weston Bend State Park offered amazing fall colors, the weather gave us perfect temps, and this gorgeous couple gave me a wonderful engagement session - talk about just knowing exactly how to nail it, every shot! Sammie and Austin are fantastic!!
 

The kind of love these two share is that perfect combination of sweet, sincere, and genuine fun. It's obvious these two have the most when they are together!

We inadvertently picked what was the most chilly morning Downtown Kansas City had seen to date; but it didn't hinder us in the least! These two lovelies completely rocked their engagement session!!

An evening spent at the Community America Ballpark, home of the Kansas City T-Bones! With these two awesome people for an engagement session I won't soon forget!

Dinh & Tran... I could say so much. These two are some of the nicest people I've ever met, and working with them was truly a treat! We utilized the gorgeous Briarcliff Park for their engagement photos, and it was the perfect area!
