Yayyyy! Wedding day details!!! What's a Best of Weddings post without a Best of Details post?! Am I the only one who gets super excited over all the big and little details that make a wedding day unique!? Details are one of my favorite things to photograph! Best of Weddings 2015
2015 was a year of seventeen gorgeous and perfect wedding days, that I'm so happy I got to document!!
Sooooo excited to share my wedding favorites in this big best of weddings post!! 2015 was a fantastic year of 17 total weddings, and compiling my faves for this post was difficult!! This might just be pushing the seams! I warned you! So many wonderful couples and gorgeous wedding days!!
On a sappy note - This post is so near and dear to my heart you guys! This post shows me what I still can't even believe - that I'm living my dream! The ways in which I've been blessed blow my mind, and I'm just so happy to be doing this career I love so much!

Best of Engagements 2015
2015 was a year full of so many lovely engagement sessions with amazing couples who I flat out ADORE!
Engagement sessions are easily one of my absolute favorite parts of the entire wedding photography process, - of being a photographer as a whole. I loveeee documenting two people who are so wrapped up in their love for one another, and during such an exciting time in their lives! E-sessions give me this perfect time to get to know my couples, and learn more about them as individuals, and as couple who will soon say I DO. I love every second of it!!

2015 was full of SO many AWESOME lifestyle and portrait sessions! Gah!! From baby bumps to chubby little babies, to families of three, four and five, to anniversaries and more. I had so many wonderful mornings and evenings with all of these beautiful faces below, from the great Midwest to North Carolina and back! West Bottoms Family Session | The Sherf Family
A FUN family of three + me in the always awesome, West Bottoms KC (I'm good at rhyming)
Ohhh this little family, and how much I simply ADORE them! Alex and Greg have been two people I've had the pleasure of getting to know all through the wonderful world of photography - and time spent with them is always so great! Most time with them is on busy wedding days, where I'm in full on GO MODE - but this day here, this day was all about relaxing, exploring, having fun together, and creating some lovely images together.
These two have the cutest little one, with the absolute cutest name - cue, Wally. I mean really. Wally. And just wait 'til you see his gorgeous baby blues! Us four got together in early December - on an unseasonably mild day, in the always awesome West Bottoms of KC for a fun family photo session. Wally decided to wave at me a lot - which was too cute for words. Beautiful Alex laughed more than I've ever seen her laugh - and we all know, laughing's my fave. And Greg - Greg had a great time himself, especially when a poor homeless cat decided to become immediate best friends with him. JK. Greg doesn't like cats so much...
It's safe to say we had a FUN evening together - and I hope to be photographing these guys for many years to come!!
