Once a bride and groom of mine, now a family of three!

A few years ago, I was there among family and friends when Hollie & Saad spoke their promises, and pledged their love. Flash forward to now and these two awesome people have a Baby Boy on the way, and he's coming oh so soon!

It isn't often that I get to work with families, especially families with teenagers! I was really excited for this chance when Jamie contacted me about doing her family photos. We did their photos in a spot I hadn't shot at before, so you know I was pumped to go somewhere new! Martha Lafite Nature Sanctuary is definitely a place I will revisit!!

A few weeks ago I had three shoots in one day - that was a first for me! - and this lovely little family was shoot #1 of that morning! Loose Park was the perfect spot for us, and I'm so glad this was where we chose for their family photos! They completely rocked it out! 

This kid.. This kid, named Cole, is one my favorite kids in all the world. We spent this particular morning in October in the West Bottoms of Kansas City, exploring and playing, and Cole let me photograph it all! 

I find it hard to believe that Silas is already 1 year old. Watching this kiddo grow up and being a witness to his awesome and hilarious personality is something I truly enjoy. 

To say that I had been looking forward to this session is an understatement. I was PUMPED!

One of the first really nice days of 2014, and I couldn't have spent it any better! Working with The Clausers is about as perfect as you can hope for as a photographer. We did their lovely family photo session at Watkins Mill, I love that place!
