Kansas City Adventurous Winter Style Engagement Session // Abby + Paden
On a trip to Telluride, Colorado….on a 12 mile hike, at the end of all those steps together - Paden surprised by Abby with a proposal!
Abby and Paden.... walking through life together, walking into the New Year together, walking into, just days from now, finally living in the same state again together. A Navy guy and a Midwest girl, these two right here who have spent months exchanging letters, living that long-distance relationship life.
All of their walks together up to this point, with one being a 12 mile hike - on a trip to Telluride CO, where at the end of said hike, together, just the two of them...by a beautiful lake, Paden surprised Abby by dropping to one knee and asking her to be the one he walks beside for all the rest of their days on this earth.
Sooo immensely excited to know these two, to third-wheel style walk beside them and photograph this monumental time in their lives! I can't even wait for their wedding day!!

How to make skydiving even MORE exhilarating? Proposing while skydiving!
Taiylor and Nolan were going skydiving, of all things. Skydiving...a completely exhilarating thing to do all on its own, one can only imagine. But, for this event on this day, Nolan had something planned and in motion that would take skydiving to a whole new level for Taiylor. She jumped out of that plane, had that immediate overwhelming feeling of a free-fall from 10,000 feet in the air when suddenly, Taiylor spotted way down below, on the ground, in huge gigantic letters, the words "WILL YOU MARRY ME?".
I wonder how she made it to the ground in one piece - not because she was skydiving, but because she knew within seconds of jumping out of that plane that once on the ground, there would be a moment she would never forget, a ring, a hug, a kiss. All of those things happened, plus Nolan had made sure their sweet pup Polo was there waiting to celebrate with them too!
These two are so unbelievably cute and sweet together, and I'm SO thankful to get to know them and be a part of this special time in their lives!! The level of genuine heart these two possess is kind of unreal, yet so real at the same time! Their engagement session left me beaming from ear to ear, and I absolutely cannot waitttttt until their 2018 wedding!!!

They both remember playing and exploring this very park as kids and teens. So many wooded areas to be curious about, so many fish to be caught. They hadn't been back in years - but on this chilly February day, they went back. The biggest difference - they went together.

Jessica and Kevin didn't know one another growing up, though their paths crossed in the halls of high school. Many years later, it was Facebook that brought them back together - reunited them in a way that resulted in getting to know each other more than they had in the past.
When their relationship got serious, Jessica had one rule - No wedding bells for at least 3 years. Kevin could hardly wait. He sought and received permission from not only Jessica's Dad, but also Jessica's teenage son, Logan. He even took Logan ring shopping with him. And then, on a vacation to Colorado, in a town nestled between Pikes Peak, and Garden of the Gods - Kevin asked the question he had been so eager to ask.
These two tie the knot this month - they are on the final countdown, and without a doubt, it's going to be a great day full of love, laughter, and happiness!
