When Abby's parents brought her home years ago, I'm guessing they thought about her wedding day. And when Brett's parents brought him home years ago, I'm guessing they thought about his wedding day too. Those two sweet babies were going to grow up in the blink of an eye and one day, find one another.

And on June 25th, that wedding day came into existence — a day that was thought about, dreamt of, planned for. And while a true and crazy Midwest storm wasn't part of all those thoughts, dreams and plans, it just so happened to be what these two young hearts ended up with. So while Abby's Dad officiated indoors instead of outdoors, his words were all the same, and while Abby and Brett added rings to one another's fingers, those promises were still the same. And when the rain finally stopped, these two giggled together in a big open field all the same, as if that storm ultimately didn't phase any of those wedding day thoughts, dreams and plans!!
