KC Engagement Session | Kenzie + Nick

Does it not just give you a serious case of goosebumps to think about the life of 2 college kids, who don't know one another, but who pass by each other on campus oh so often, and who always seem to catch one another's eye? That's the story of Kenzie and Nick.

It took Nick quite some time to work up the courage to send that single Facebook message that changed his entire world - "Would you want to grab a cup of coffee some time?" Little did Nick know, Kenzie hates coffee. 

So the coffee was nixed and instead, snow cones. Those frozen treats and that time together, one on one made Kenzie and Nick both realize so much all at once. Like just how much they had in common, just how well their personalities meshed, and just how much they both liked one another.

Together they've fallen in love with so much laughter, their obsession with dogs, trips to the lake, cheering on their KC teams...and the root of it all is the best part, their shared love for God, family, friends, and one another.

For Kenzie's 23rd birthday, a dinner at Houston's was in store. Shortly after, a trip to Williams Sonoma where Nick said she could pick out anything she wanted for their new house they had just purchased....as soon as their feet exited that store, Nick went to one knee.
