A precious love story | KC engagement photography | Courtney + Austin

It was the day before Easter Sunday, and Courtney realized she needed to go grab her Bible, to have it ready for church come Sunday morning. In the weeks leading up to this special holiday, she had had conversations with her Mom... "He's never going to propose!" she said, over and over. Knowing in her heart she wanted nothing more than to marry the love of her life. Courtney's sweet Mom just listened, let her daughter vent it out, all the while knowing things were about to change. 

That Saturday before Easter when Courtney walked into the living room to retrieve her Bible, she realized something about the feel of the Bible was off. It felt like something was stuck inside, between the covers. There she stood flipping through the pages,  trying to find out why it felt like there was a lump...when Austin came running in the room. No time like the present, he figured...just as Courtney reached the pages that the string-bookmark was between..... And tied to the Bible's bookmark string, was a gorgeous diamond solitaire. 

Courtney and Austin are beyond precious, and have something so out-of-this-world special, that it just gives a person goosebumps! These two will tie the knot in October of this year, and it's going to be an amazing day that I simply can't wait for!!
