Shelley and Travis met on Match.com many years ago, and when they finally met in person, they totally hit it off - but, the timing just wasn't right. They went on their own ways, and then suddenly and randomly ran into one another a few years later -- and then, then my friends, the timing was oh so right.
They had been together for a while, reaching that pivotal point in a relationship where getting engaged is just the next step - and Shelley began. "There's some bridal shows coming up ya know....should I go....?" and "I was thinking of going to a bridal show... should I...?"
Travis never gave her the sign that said HECK YES, answering every time with "Sure, if you want to."
Just when Shelley started to think it might never happen.... out of the blue one day, Travis asked, "Hey, are you going to go to that upcoming bridal show?" - Shelley, confused, said she didn't think so.. but, of course, had to ask - "Why.. Should I...?"
Travis responded with a very surprising, and very confident, "Absolutely!"
Something was afoot... and Shelley couldn't get to that bridal show fast enough!
From there, they chose the perfect venue together, and they chose the perfect ring together (spoiler alert: it's GORGEOUS.) And they chose the perfect date together. Travis still managed a total surprise proposal in their home, complete with a bouquet of flowers. And now, on November 12th of this year - these two lovebirds are going to tie the knot!
Shelley + Travis are two souls perfect for one another. They compliment each other so well. They make one another laugh so easily, and the love they share is so obvious. These two are going to have a wonderful life together! And I can't wait continue documenting their story in November! :)
