An Intimate Outdoor Wedding on the Family Farm // Kaylie + Cameron

Their original wedding day plans included a well known wedding venue and a guest list of more than double...but with the way 2020 has been going, these two decided what was the most important of all was that they got married. So, they nixed the big venue, narrowed down their guest list, and decided a small, intimate wedding on Kaylie's parents' newly purchased, in-the-middle-of-renovations farm house was just the ticket — and friends, it could not have been more perfect.

They both got ready in different rooms — Kaylie in what will eventually be her parents bedroom — and years from now when she comes over to their house, all completed, she'll have memories that include her putting on her wedding dress and hiding in their walk-in closet. She'll see a complete room in time, but never forget the time spent with her best girls (and best doggies) — in a room with blue painters tape and unfinished walls.

For Cameron, he and his best guys got dressed in a room of drywall and unfinished floors — but did that stop their hilarity and good times? Absolutely not.

In the front yard, Kaylie walked down the aisle on the arm of her sweet Dad — and then her and Cameron stood on an area rug that was specially chosen by her mom, and his mom. On that very rug — they exchanged vows and promises of forever. They plan to place that rug under their bed back in Colorado and now every night for a lifetime — above said rug, they'll whisper I love you's and go to sleep thanking their lucky stars for one another. They celebrated as the sun went down on a Friday in August, in the back yard, on the deck, in the grass, and by the pool...Leap frog and more with their matron of honor and best man. Shoe game — with a twist of, whose shoes smell worse. With family close by under big white tents — and their sweet doggies running around....and this amazing day finished up with just as much magic as it started off with!!
