JAMES A REED WILDLIFE AREA

  • Key features + Notes: This park is huge and has a whole lot to offer. From fields of tall grass, several lakes and ponds, tons of trees and paths etc. From April-October one of the lakes will have a few fishing boats — meant for actual fishermen who frequent the area, but if available, we can use one quick for a few photos if you like that idea. This park is pretty year round, regardless of season! Typically I’ll have couples follow me from spot to spot in their car or ride with me from spot to spot due to the size of the park. Also, because of the overall size of the park, I usually go to 3-4 spots total for photos, and we walk around a bit at each one for different looks.

  • Parking: Typically I suggest meeting in the main parking lot by the Dept. Of Conservation and then you guys leave your car there, or just follow me from spot to spot.

  • Restrooms: One area within the park has set of male and female stalls for public use.
