Hey! I'm Elizabeth! A storytelling (and story loving!) wedding + lifestyle portrait photographer. I'm originally from a small foothill town in North Carolina, but now call Kansas City, Missouri home. I've always been one who loves to laugh, and make others laugh too. I fully believe that living in the moment every single second is the best decision a person can make. I'm random, and quirky, sometimes mistaken as shy. An extroverted introvert. An INFJ. And I have a slight tendency toward awkwardness. I love to read and explore. I love music. I get choked up easily. I tend to get excited over everything. And I love animals, especially cats!

Basically if you're quirky, laugh easily, love books and cats, and have a streak of awkwardness - we're probably going to be best friends.

My background is a degree in Advertising and Graphic Design and a heart that has always been full of love for photography. Even as a wee one, there was a purple Mickey Mouse camera in hand. Photography has truly become an extension of myself over the last several years, and this career path is every bit of the dream I had as a kiddo.

The rest of my story goes like this...
I'm married to my wonderful husband & best friend, Wes.
He showers me with love, makes me laugh all the time, and encourages me daily. He's my favorite person in the world. He reminds me of my worth and keeps me keeping on.

I'm a mama to a sweet blue-eyed baby. He has four legs, a cute nose, and whiskers, too. His name is Noah!
He's basically more popular among my friends than I am - full of so much personality, hilarious antics, and he always seems to know when you just need a good head-bump.

- a favorite quote -
"There is only one truly significant work to do in this life, and that is to love; to love nature, to love people, to love animals, to love creation itself, just because it is.
To serve God's creation with a warm and loving hand of generosity and compassion - that is the only meaningful existence."
