Hey!
I’m Elizabeth
Meet Your Photographer
your giddy third wheel
and seasoned
storytelling witness.
I care a lot –
about your story, your experience, your photos, all of this…
and I’m not exactly subtle about it.
I fully believe life is more fun when you let yourself get excited about it.
I think people and stories are endlessly interesting (which surprises absolutely no one who's met me). Like, tell me how you met, the story
of your proposal, what your pet's personality is like... I promise I'm already invested.
I don't think I've ever been very good at simply watching life happen. I'm constantly noticing it, feeling it, romanticizing it... yes, even the really ordinary stuff. It's just how I'm wired.
Somewhere along the way, I realized photography wasn't just something I love doing — it was actually the perfect home for all those instincts to land. And I truly believe that's where the best photos begin.
For me, it’s never just about showing up with a camera.
It’s about the connection we create — the kind where there’s a natural ease, a shared excitement, and a feeling of this just fits.
And with a foundation like that, everything shifts.
You feel more comfortable.
More seen.
You’re more present.
More yourself.
And that’s when the most honest photos are created.
- Value both the experience and the photos – because they
understand one shapes the other.
- Care a lot about connection – with each other, with their
people, and with the person documenting their story.
- Are just as excited to have me there as I am to be a part of it all.
My kind of people…
“Elizabeth is your gal. End of story.”
- Allie & Drew
When I’m not documenting your story, I’m living my own –
Forever in love with Charleston
and I romanticize it nonstop.
Seriously, though
We'll get to this.
We did our wedding a little differently — highly recommend.
A private, intentional, just-us day… then a celebration with family and friends 24 hours later.
10/10, no notes.
Here’s a few more things I’d probably tell you over coffee.
Easily distracted by really good light.
Finding feathers in the wild feels like a little message from the universe.
I never ignore one.Writing my memoir, little by little.
Constantly rattling off Phil Phil's 27+ nicknames to him.
Accidentally started the Wedding Day Mirror Selfie trend in 2015.
Carolina mountain roots. Carolina coast heart.
Odds are you’ll catch me hugging your grandma at your wedding.
My default setting: romanticizing ordinary things... and crying over most of them.
Photography may be what brought you here... but it isn't the whole story.
There are chapters of my life that have shaped how I see, feel, and show up.
If you're curious...
Turns out… these things aren’t separate.
How I live and love in my own life — how I connect, notice, and care — is exactly how I show up for you and everything that you trust me to document.
I've always believed that I can't ask you to let me into your world if I'm not willing to let you into mine.
You’ve heard my story — now, I want to hear all about yours.
