LIBERTY MEMORIAL // WWI MUSEUM

  • Key features + Notes: Another popular area in Kansas City — the WWI museum offers not only a great view of downtown KC, facing north, but a great view of Union Station which is also an iconic KC landmark. There would be both a combination of grassy/treed areas here, as well as all the stone structure and steps to climb on, giving a pretty diverse gallery of images. Note that this is of course a very popular spot, so we’d easily cross paths with several other photographers and couples/groups — aside from just general public, and we’d have to be mindful of those around us and share the space!

  • Parking: The memorial/museum itself has a lot of parking

  • Restrooms: None — the museum has public restrooms, but typically we are there after their open hours.
